About Me

Hello. I'm Dennis Jöst. Lead Machine Learning Engineer. I'm specialized to train and deploy neural networks, as well as to build stunning fast Big Data and streaming pipelines. I build systems at DEFINE MEDIA that ingest, transform and make billions of records available for exploration. This data is used to train neural networks on this massive amount of data with an own developed input pipeline (python + tensorflow).

What I Do

Deep Learning

Experience in pytorch and tensorflow for implementing various neural network architectures. From CTR prediction networks, over style transfer and GAN Training.

Inference Pipelines

Deployment of neural networks in the cloud for live inference. I have experience with AWS Sagemaker and NVIDIA Triton Server to get you networks running.

Cloud Computing

PaaS, SaaS and FaaS are not only buzzwords for me. With microservice design we solved a lot of real world problems in the cloud.

Datawarehousing

From data ingestion over transformation of data in streams to serving it in real world appications. I can help you to make the right decisions from your data.
